GCAP is a collaborative research project designed to learn more about unprecedented monument construction and long distance social interaction in the Appalachian Summit during the Middle Woodland Period (ca. 300 BC - AD 700). On this blog, we discuss our ongoing research on the Garden Creek site in Canton, NC, which is funded by the James B.
